Web & Product Engineering

Web products that stay fast, secure and easy to change.

We build customer-facing web applications, internal tools and SaaS products, together with the APIs and data they depend on. You get software that is pleasant to use, cheap to run and straightforward for any good engineer to pick up.

Sound familiar?

The situations we are asked to fix

A product idea that needs a first release

You need something real in front of users within weeks, built in a way that will not have to be thrown away at the first sign of traction.

A system the business has outgrown

Pages are slow, releases are risky and every change breaks something else. You need it modernised without stopping the business.

Spreadsheets doing the work of software

Orders, approvals or customer records live in files and inboxes. You want one reliable application with proper roles and an audit trail.

An agency that delivered and left

The code works but nobody understands it. You need a team that can take it over, document it and keep it healthy.

What we deliver

Concrete outcomes, not adjectives

  • Product discovery

User journeys, scope for the first release and a delivery plan you can hold us to.

  • Interface design

Clean, accessible screens designed for the way your users actually work, on phone and desktop.

  • Frontend engineering

React and TypeScript applications that load quickly and are built from reusable components.

  • APIs and backend

Java and Node.js services with clear contracts, validation at every boundary and sensible data models.

  • Payments and integrations

Razorpay and Stripe, e-mail, CRMs and third-party APIs, connected with retries, idempotency and logging.

  • Handover you can use

Architecture notes, runbooks and a codebase your own team can work in from day one.

How we work

A clear path, agreed up front

  1. 01

    Discover

Two to three weeks of workshops, user journeys and a technical audit. Output: scope, estimate and a release plan.

  2. 02

    Design

Clickable prototypes and the system architecture, reviewed with you before any production code is written.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week iterations with a working build you can try at the end of each one. Every change is reviewed and tested.

  4. 04

    Launch

Performance, security and accessibility checks, then a planned release with monitoring in place from the first hour.

  5. 05

    Evolve

Measured improvements based on real usage, with a clear backlog and predictable monthly capacity.

In-house platform

A serverless company website with online payments and payment links

A marketing website with an online checkout, payment links that staff send from an admin system, and receipts by e-mail. Amounts are fixed on the server, every payment is verified against the payment gateway, and nothing on the page can change what the customer pays.

  • Serverless on AWS: CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB
  • Razorpay checkout with server-side verification and webhooks
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform and a plan-first release process

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does a first release take?

Most first releases take eight to fourteen weeks after discovery. We agree the scope for that release in writing, so the date is tied to something concrete.

Do we own the code?

Yes. The repositories, cloud accounts and designs are yours from the first day of the engagement, and they stay yours.

Can you take over an existing application?

Yes. We start with a short technical audit, document what we find, fix the risky parts first and then improve it step by step.

Which technologies do you choose?

Mainstream, well-supported ones that your future team can hire for. We explain every choice and its trade-offs before we make it.

How do you charge?

Fixed price for a well-defined scope, or a monthly team for evolving products. Discovery is always a small fixed-price piece of work.
